Kelly's 1891 Directory lists Richard Sheaf as a 'blanket manufacturer' based at Market Place, Witney, but at present no further information is known his products. The entry may possibly be an error as elsewhere in the same Directory he is listed as a 'blanket factor and tailor' - a factor would have been a seller of blankets [1, 2]. Kelly's 1903 Directory lists him only as an outfitter, so perhaps his trade was changing at this time [3].
